A simple motor is NOT easy!

For a small brushless DC motor worths less than US$10 dollars, people might think that the technical content should be easy, and you can integrate it "casually". In addition, by selecting cheap components and materials, and use streamlined manpower to assembly, might be the only way to secure a meager profit margin.


If you have the above conception, please take a few minutes to browse through this article.  You will find to develop a "simple" motor, there are still a lot of bottlenecks that you have to overcome. Especially, by considering the quality issues, noise issues, and the business penetration plan, you will quickly find that this is NOT easy.

This article sorts out the technical specifications encountered in the development of a BLDC motor for the residential fan. Although my friends told me that this information might be too out-dated to share, I still would like to write it down as a documentary for my past work experience. SECS/GEM 製程設備連線技術

  花了一些時間, 將之前參加工研院主辦的 "製程設備 SECS/GEM 連線技術培訓" 的課程內容, 依個人認知的內容加以整理, 希望能夠提供一個讓新手可以比較容易理解與上手的說明順序, 其中包含 SECS/GEM的格式演進,  SML檔案格式, State-machine 的狀態流程,  模擬軟件的操作方法, 與系統實現的步驟等。最後, 如果希望經由委外的方式來實現設備 SECS/GEM 的功能時, 提供在台灣或國外可以尋求解決方案的單位或公司資源。 #SEMI  #HSMS  #SECS  #GEM Document Link

ALD 原子層沈積製程及設備技術

  很榮幸能夠接受到陽明交通大學游欽宏兼任副教授的邀約，於113學年度第1學期在工學院專班半導體材料與製程設備組的課程「半導體製程設備概論」（課號：ENSE30006）中，針對 ALD (原子層堆積) 的相關製程與設備技術，與修課同學進行分享。這次講座於2024年10月25日舉行，課程過後, 我希望也透過個人的部落格，將本課堂的講義內容提供給業內同好，促進專業知識的交流與合作。 Document Link
